Lindsey & Chris
In late September, Lindsey & Chris promised each other forever. After seeing the forecast, they decided to share a first look before the rain came. With joy and sweet anticipation, Lindsey & Chris shared an intimate first look. Like clockwork, the rain came shortly after. Scattered rain showers spanned across the evening but did not dampen their beautiful ceremony and reception with dear family and friends. Happy six month anniversary, Lindsey & Chris!

Words from the Bride...
"The Grove is beyond 5 stars! From the moment my husband and I began driving into the venue I was already falling in love with its beauty. Once I stepped into the bridal suite I started crying because I could already envision spending the day with my bridesmaids and the beautiful memories we would be creating in this elegant space. Then we made our way to the ceremony site and I knew immediately this is where we would say I do. Everything about The Grove is warm and inviting especially it's owners the Baldwins! They are what takes The Grove beyond 5 stars, any venue can be beautiful but the Baldwins make you feel more like family rather than a business transaction. We feel so incredibly blessed to work with such a warm and loving family, they made us and our guest feel right at home. At the end of the wedding night after getting the cars loaded my parents had a flat tire and they didn't hesitate helping them get everything taken care of quickly without adding additional stress to the day.
After envisioning this perfect wedding amongst the trees and having an evening under the cafe lights and stars the Texas weather decided it had another plan on our wedding day. Then the moment brides fear on their wedding day is that " plan b" needs to be put in place happened. Lucky for me I had The Fairy Godmother (much younger version ;) ) of wedding coordinators Bobbie Jantz of Merrily Married! Bobbie had called me on Wednesday about options and I was never rushed to make the choice ahead of time. We actually had everything set as originally planned and then after 11am Bobbie pulled me aside to chat and we made the decision. At that moment she asked if I trusted her and I said of course I trust you and she pulled together more than I could have dreamed!! If my guest hadn't know ahead it was going to be outdoors they would have never known! Bobbie kept my mind and bridal party at ease the entire day,most of my girls are married and all said they wished they had Bobbie as their coordinator. To say she went above and beyond would be an understatement, the amount of detail and organization Bobbie brings to the table is perfection. My bridal party loved being included with the details of the schedule she put together for the day of our wedding and she kept everyone to that schedule flawlessly. Even with the rain there were no moments of panic and she was able to help us capture a few of the outdoor pictures we wanted when we had breaks in the rain. She is one of the sweetest most caring people I have ever met and at times felt more like a friend than a coordinator, I wish I could think of a better title for her because she is so much more than a day of coordinator. Bobbie is absolutely amazing and a joy to work with. I can't imagine our wedding without her assistance.
I know this review is lengthy but I could go on and on about how gorgeous the venue is but its all of the little things that will make your day special and choosing to be at The Grove and working with the Baldwin family is the best decision you can make! Besides saying "I Do" of course ;) and a huge Thank You from the bottom of our hearts to Bobbie and The Baldwins for making our dreams come true despite the weather and making all of our guest feel at home. I will always remember what you told me "A wet knot is the strongest knot!" We feel truly blessed to have worked with Bobbie and the Baldwins."
